Karongthang secondary school being a government school do not charge any fee from students except CBSE exam fee and registration fee collected each year from students of standard IX and X. students are given free admission any time of an academic year as per convenience of school and admission seeker. further uptil class VIII students are given free textbooks and exercise copy by sikkim government. free uniforms from shoes to shirts ,bags and raincoat are also provided free of cost at school by state government
